The forum is an important part of non-governmental efforts to create platforms for “people’s” diplomacy, enabling the discussion and public awareness of significant topics on the Ukrainian agenda and its role in geopolitical processes.

In addition to the official part, the agency’s team paid considerable attention to informal communication with Ukrainian veterans during a dinner organized by CSIA. It was useful and insightful to exchange views on the importance of developing cooperation between United States and Ukrainian veteran organizations, utilizing U.S. experience in veteran rehabilitation and integrating veterans into post-war social life. One of CSIA’s missions is to maximize the development of such dialogue in the future.
