On April 3, 2025, the leadership of the NGO “CSIA” participated in a conference (Washington, DC) dedicated to the protection of Christianity in Syria and Lebanon - Supporting Christianity in Syria and Lebanon: US Policy and the Path Forward. 

During the event, the following distinguished speakers were heard: Mark Vlasic – Senior Fellow and Adjunct Professor of Law and Public Policy, Georgetown University, Nina Shea – Senior Fellow and Director for Religious Freedom, Hudson Institute, Ambassador John Craig) - Senior Fellow, Transatlantic Leadership Network, Jonnie Moore – Evangelical leader and human rights activist. 

The main narrative of the speakers - the oppression of Christians and ensuring the rights of Christian communities should find an appropriate response in the foreign policy of the United States. 

During personal communication and the discussion of important issues related to freedom of religion and support for Christianity in Syria and Lebanon, NGO representatives noted the importance of the United States' support for generally accepted Christian values and ensuring the peaceful coexistence of different faiths.

The forum was honored by the presence of Adiz Boboev, Governor of Uzbekistan’s Samarkand Region, and Furqat Sidikov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States. 

The meetings resulted in agreements to support the establishment of English language courses in Samarkand, provide assistance to the Ukrainian diaspora, and strengthen cooperation between the Ukrainian and Uzbek diaspora communities in the United States.
