The scope of reviewed problematic issues of domestic terrorism & violent extremism was so wide, that it was necessary to cover special fields in racial, religious, political, protest activities at university campuses, cyber crimes, children abuse etc.
As a Head of Philadelphia office of the Center for Strategic Initiatives and Assistance Prof. Alla Pukhtetska underlined the necessity to counter-act to terrorism and other crimes committed by minors through a system of prevention, prior access to education and re-socialization of minors, who had been used as a source to commit crimes by adults. Children do need protection from street violence and should be protected by public policies, helping in administrative justice way to restore their violated rights.
As a Director of North East Refugee Center Prof. Alla Pukhtetska has expressed her point of view on modern extremism and crimes performed by foreign youth groups, that do not follow any positive or natural law requirements and bring a huge threat to modern American society by their illegal actions. Vital issues of protecting lives and non-participation in crimes by accidental street shootings have been discussed.
Bishop of Philadelphia Luke (Zhoba) took personal part in this conference and stressed on special issues regarding modern Christian values & behaviors development, discussed violence & extremism in Christianity and participated in discussions.
During this training speakers have discussed important issues of the limits of the First Amendment protection issues with specific issues of realization at gaming platforms, in social media and press, non-violation of personal right to free assembly, freedom of speech. Special attention was paid to realization of the Third amendment to the US Constitution, the notion of the terrorism, violence, crime, as well as their comparison with racial, economic, religious, racial, economic grounds for domestic terrorism & violence. The main speaker has also explained how to find and explain the grounds and ideology of terrorists. And insisted on the necessary steps to prevent radicalization.
There have been also covered the indicators of radicalization, historical comparisons and modern practices, symbols, war conflicts in Ukraine, Palestine and possible terroristic threats.
A very interesting part of the training was specially prepared to make the audience acquainted with the modern cyber crimes issues, the modes used by hackers for cyber-related crimes, as well as their aims to create a chaos & anarchy in global perspective.
School violations were specially discussed for the purpose to make preventive impact on the audience and explain the real needs in protection of young children from fights in schools, their rights abuse, involvement in secret groups violating other people rights with extremism features.
As a result, all the participants of the event had a complex renewal of their knowledge and practical skills on understanding features of the domestic crimes and counteracting to terrorism in the USA.
