The forum was honored by the presence of Adiz Boboev, Governor of Uzbekistan’s Samarkand Region, and Furqat Sidikov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States. 

The meetings resulted in agreements to support the establishment of English language courses in Samarkand, provide assistance to the Ukrainian diaspora, and strengthen cooperation between the Ukrainian and Uzbek diaspora communities in the United States.

Organized by the Ukrainian diaspora, the Embassy of Ukraine, and partner groups including United Help Ukraine, Razom for Ukraine, Nova Ukraine, and US Ukrainian Activists, the event transformed the historic site into a powerful display of solidarity with blue-and-yellow flags waving amid prayers, patriotic songs, and speeches. The program featured inspiring remarks from EU Ambassador to the U.S. Jovita Neliupšienė, Pastor Mark Burns, Ukrainian veteran Andriy Smolenskyi, Mark Levin of the National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry (NCSEJ), and Deputy Chief of Mission Denys Sienik from the Embassy of Ukraine, who stressed that aiding Ukraine remains a vital investment in global and Euro-Atlantic security.

Philadelphia, PA – On August 16, 2025, representatives of the Center of Strategic Initiatives and Assistance (CSIA) joined the Ukrainian community in Philadelphia for a vibrant celebration of Ukraine’s Independence Day which was organized by the Northeast Community Center.

On August 5, 2025, representatives of the NGO CSIA attended an event organized by the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center and the Antiquities Coalition in Washington, DC, announcing the inclusion of a Ukrainian artifact from 6,000 BCE, stolen during Russia’s invasion, in the “Ten Most Wanted Antiquities” list.

Independence Day is a symbol of freedom, democracy and courage of the American people. This day reminds the whole world of the importance of the struggle for independence, dignity and the right of every nation to self-determination. For centuries, the United States has remained a steadfast pillar of international security, justice and human rights.

For the first time in this century, a parade was held in Washington (DC) in honor of the 250th anniversary of the US Armed Forces. 

The celebration coincided with the birthday of US President Donald Trump, who turned 79, so which event was really the main one is a good question.

Children from local refugee center from and St. Luke’s Academy participated in creating and coloring Easter eggs.

On April 3, 2025, the leadership of the NGO “CSIA” participated in a conference (Washington, DC) dedicated to the protection of Christianity in Syria and Lebanon - Supporting Christianity in Syria and Lebanon: US Policy and the Path Forward.

A lot of questions participants didn’t want to ask, and a lot of issues diplomacy preferred not to mention. So, the most interesting panel was “War of words: propaganda, disinformation, negotiation.
